Black leather bustiers mix with misogyny in the loopy retro Web series Ladies Revenge Club. Will Call talks with writer/producer/designer/actress Margo Neely, hot off her series’ double win at the GeekFest Film Festival at New York Super Week/New York Comic Con.

Manville, USA, 1963: It’s every man’s place (…where every woman knows  hers!) —until five unlucky ladies, victims of a biological experiment gone horribly wrong, become supervixens hellbent on vengeance!

Experiences with misogyny on a professional level inspired Margo Neely and her cohorts at the Axis Theatre Company in New York City, to concoct Ladies Revenge Club – a heady mix of 1960’s  nostalgia and modern day sexual politics.

Now Margo is promoting and marketing the series during her first months as a new mother, bringing a fresh perspective on what society demands of women. Sleepless nights crafting LRC while working full time at Neely Air – the boutique Williamstown-based new media/film production and design Studio she and her husband, Matt Neely, co-founded – have segued into sleepless nights with their daughter while maintaining her professional and creative life at full throttle.
