Yidstock: The Festival of New Yiddish Music returns to the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA! Join us on Sunday, July 14 at 3:00 p.m. for a performance by Basya Schechter and Avi Fox-Rosen as they present an original composition for 20th-century Eastern European Yiddish poet Itsik Manger’s collection of Khumesh Lider (Bible stories). Characters we know and love like Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah are plucked out of Canaan and set in interwar Eastern Europe.
