The traditional music trio Grosse Isle was born out of the “absolutely magical” collaboration between three exceptional musicians from Quebec and Ireland (The Irish Music Magazine). Together, Sophie Lavoie du Lac-St-Jean (fiddle, piano, vocal), André Marchand the legendary (guitar, vocal), and Fiachra O’Regan, Irish champion (Irish bagpipes, whistle, banjo) shine with their rich and enveloping music. On Sunday, March 3rd, 3:00pm to 5:00pm, the Store at Five Corners Stewardship Association will host a free event, “257 Years Young – Photos and Stories of the Store at Five Corners,” at the Store, 4 New Ashford Road, Williamstown. Upon purchasing the Store in January 2022, the non-profit Stewardship Association started collecting historic photos and documents relating to the Store and the surrounding Five Corners Historic District, recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.
