Our first musician is Mark Franklin performing from 12:30 - 1:20 pm Inspired and fueled by songwriters from the 60s and 70s. Mark has been writing and playing beautiful music since he was a teen. Performing from 1:30 – 2:30 pm will be Pete Apple and Kathy Garson They have been creating their unique blend of music for over 50 years!

Shakespeare & Company presents Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale: An Enhanced Staged Reading, directed by Tina Packer, August 21 – 25 outdoors at the Arthur S. Waldstein Amphitheatre. Join the two most celebrated musicians of a generation, cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Emanuel Ax, as they make a rare duo performance in the wonderfully intimate, 500-seat Spa Little Theater. Shakespeare & Company presents the World Premiere of Awni Abdi-Bahri's Three Tall Persian Women, directed by Dalia Ashurina, August 30 through October 13 in the Elayne P. Berstein Theatre. Golnar, a punkish Iranian-American millennial, returns home to her mother Nasrin for the anniversary of her father’s passing, and walks into hoards of family memorabilia that her grandmother Mamani has moved in with her. This comedic and touching play is about generational differences, grief, control, and learning to let go; but more than anything, it’s a love story to immigrant mothers.

Hoosic River Float & Post-Float Gathering at Tourists On Sunday, September 8 join Hoosic River Revival for a fun afternoon of paddling, nature and good company on the river and at Tourists! The River Float runs from 1:30-5:30 pm from North Adams to Williamstown. The Post-Float Gathering at Tourists (915 State Rd, North Adams) runs from 6:00-8:00 pm with food & drink for purchase.
