As a solo performing musician she sings and plays finger-style acoustic guitar and piano. Melissa's solo performances include a blend of originals and cover songs with a special love for folk music. Melissa has an extensive repertoire ranging from 50’s pop to the hits of the 60’s and 70’s. Her musical inspirations include Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Jewel and The Beatles, among many others.
