Affairs of the Heart: Stand-Up Comedy and Storytelling Workshop
Participants will learn the basics of writing and performing a short comedy set or humorous story for the stage.Broken up, newly in love, happily divorced, still sharing a Netflix account with your ex- all are welcome at this workshop with award winning comedian Mina Hartong ( Joe’s Pub, Olivia Travel, Lincoln Center Director’s Lab). Participants will write a short stand up set or story to share on stage at our student showcase Sunday, February 11th at 1PM. We will learn flow, exposition, audience interaction and joke structure to share the humorous parts of love life challenges. No experience necessary, intergenerational stories
