Berkshire Art Association Presents: 10×10 Real Art Party & Benefit

📅 Thursday, February 20, 2025
📍 Clock Tower Artists Studios, Pittsfield, MA

The 10×10 Real Art Party (10×10 RAP) is back, bringing together artists, art lovers, and the Berkshire community for a lively night of creativity and connection! Hosted by Clock Tower Artists at the Clock Tower Business Center (75 South Church St., Pittsfield), this free, in-person event is a highlight of the 2025 10×10 Festival.

BAA Board Member Jayme Kurland explains on the group’s website, “The 10×10 Art Party is a special and meaningful event. Every year, artists from the community are able to share their newest work and gather together within an atmosphere of acceptance, warmth, and joy. As artists, we are able to be ‘seen.’ As an audience to the other artists, we are able to ‘witness’ and feel inspired. The event is deeply community-oriented, and I look forward to it every February!”

🔹 How It Works:
Artists from Berkshire County and beyond donate stunning 10×10-inch original artworks, which are exhibited in the Clock Tower Artists Studios from February 17–20. Attendees can purchase $35 ARTIX tickets—each guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind piece to take home!

🔹 Where the Proceeds Go:
Funds raised support the Berkshire Art Association’s mission to uplift the arts in the community by funding:
🎓 BAA Fellowships for college art majors

About the Berkshire Art Association (BAA)

Since 1950, the BAA has been dedicated to connecting artists with the community, fostering creativity, and expanding access to the visual arts. Membership and event participation support college fellowships, high school art programs, and exhibitions like the 10×10 Real Art Party and the biennial juried shows at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts.

Of the work of the BAA, Pittsfield High School art teacher Lisa Ostellino describes on the BAA site, “The BAA has significantly raised student engagement through enriching field trips and experiences outside the classroom. Additionally, thanks to their funding, we have been able to purchase quality watercolors and easels for the hundreds of students we serve. Together, we are making a positive impact on our students’ artistic journeys.”
